Events

Al-Habib Islamic Centre holds many regular and one-off events through the year. The events are aimed at supporting both religious and cultural aspects. We aim to promote the spiritual well being of the Swindon community. Below is a list of regular events which are held.

Education

Children’s Islamic education and madrassah classes are ongoing. Classes are separated into boys and girls. Admission to the class is from age of 5 and upwards. Teaching Qadiah all the way to Holy Quran with tajweed rules. Islamic History, Adab, aklhaq are also taught.

Classes take place Monday to Friday usually 5-6pm

Youth Club

In the near future we will be hosting a weekly youth club. Initially this will be boys over 10+ but inshaAllah eventually we will also like a girls youth club to be setup.

The youth club requires both volunteers and young boys and girls attend regularly.

Imam

The current sitting Imam and spiritual leader for Al-Habib Islamic Centre is the esteemed Pir Syed Tahir Shah Owaisi Mahmoodi. The following services are provided by the Imam
